A CIELO ABIERTO
Proyecto de intervención en el espacio público en la Corporación Cultural Nuestra Gente del barrio Santa Cruz para el Encuentro Medellín 2007, prácticas artísticas contemporáneas.
A Cielo Abierto - Casa Amarilla es un trabajo que pretende continuar con mi propuesta personal como artista plástico, docente y pintor. Sigue los lineamientos e intereses expuestos en un proceso personal, en donde busco relacionar lo artístico, lo social y lo comunitario en la construcción de una obra que reconoce lo individual como parte esencial de lo colectivo.
El proyecto de intervención de la Casa Amarilla se desarrolla en dos momentos, así:
1- LA CASA AMARILLA ANFITRION: esta etapa se ha venido desarrollando desde el momento del inicio del Encuentro y en ella se ha concretado un acercamiento entre la comunidad, los artistas y todo el equipo de trabajo de la Corporación Cultural Nuestra Gente. A partir de encuentros y conversaciones se concertó una primera la intervención de la fachada de la Casa a manera de esquema.
2- A CIELO ABIERTO: durante los meses de mayo y junio los artistas y la comunidad intervendremos el zócalo de la Casa Amarilla con un mosaico que contará el trabajo artístico, cultural y comunitario que la Corporación Cultural Nuestra Gente hace día a día desde hace ya 20 años. Para esto se cuenta con una donación de baldosín quebrado que Corona ha hecho para este fin. Así, trabajaremos todos juntos A CIELO ABIERTO en LA CASA AMARILLA.
LA CASA AMARILLA
La CORPORACIÓN CULTURAL NUESTRA GENTE, es una institución sin ánimo de lucro, de derecho privado, organización de base, que nace en 1987, animada por la necesidad de unir esfuerzos de jóvenes de la zona Nororiental de Medellín para mostrar lo positivo de nuestros barrios y así el arte y la cultura sean cercanos a sus habitantes.
Durante estos 20 años ha desarrollado un proceso permanente de formación y capacitación y se inspira en el arte y la cultura como herramientas para el trabajo comunitario, humano y artístico, entendiendo ello como una opción de vida de niñas, niños, jóvenes, adultos y adultos mayores, mujeres y hombres; incursionando en programas de teatro, títeres, danza, música, recreación, comunicación comunitaria radio y Televisión proyectando toda su labor en intercambios, muestras, festivales y encuentros artísticos comunitarios anuales.
