Valdez (Bogotá) es una revista con dos posiciones políticas fundamentales: permaneciendo libre en ambos sentidos de la palabra (“Valdez es libre porque no gana el dinero, no al revés”), y rechazando todas las ofertas para crecer en algo más (un tipo de revista Bartlebyism). Valdez empezó como un diálogo local entre los amigos en Colombia y ha tenido el cuidado para no perder su sentido anacrónico al cual se circunscribió —en cierto modo similar al Pennsylvania Amish que analiza los efectos sociales de cada cosa tecnológica.
